Intro: Start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 1

Step 1: Start by sketching a circle. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It will only be used as a guide for the Green Angry Bird's head/body.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 2

Step 2: Next, draw two intersecting lines across the circle, one vertical and one horizontal. The end result should look like cross of a scope. These will be construction lines that will help you place the Green Angry Bird's features later on.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 3

Step 3: On the upper left section of the main circle, draw a smaller circle as a guide for the Green Angry Bird's eye. The circle should be almost as big as the entire section.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 4

Step 4: Draw an arc similar to a letter U on its side as a guide for the Green Angry Bird's beak. The arc should start near the top of the head and end below the horizontal construction line.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 5

Step 5: That’s it for the initial sketch! You have the basic Green Angry Bird shape, so now go in and tighten your drawing. From this point on, press harder with your pencil in order to get darker lines and a more defined sketch.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 6

Step 6: Darken the shape of the eye and draw a dot in the center for the Green Angry Bird's pupil. Draw a shape similar to a long rectangle above his eye for his eyebrow. Angle it down a bit for an angry look.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 7

Step 7: Use the initial shape of the arc as a guide to draw the Green Angry Bird's beak. Notice how it comes inside the circle toward the vertical construction line and gets narrower. Draw a curved horizontal line inside the beak that splits it in half and creates the mouth.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 8

Step 8: Draw a line that wraps around the left side of the beak to give it a base. The line also grazes the Green Angry Bird's eyeball slightly.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 9

Step 9: Use the main circle as a guide to draw the Green Angry Bird's head. The top of the head should be narrow, and the bottom should be wide.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 10

Step 10: Above his head, draw the Green Angry Bird's crest or Mohawk by using a series of lines to create a shape similar to three rectangles joined at the bottom.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 11

Step 11: On the left side of the Green Angry Bird's body, draw his tail. Use a series of lines to form four curved spikes. The middle spike should be bigger.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 12

Step 12: That’s it! You now have a nice sketch of the Green Angry Bird from the Angry Birds game. You can stop at this quick drawing for a rough, sketchy look or go for a more finished look by continuing to the step below.

Draw Green Angry Bird Step 13

Step 13: For a more finished, inked look, carefully draw over the final sketch lines with a pen or marker. Wait for the ink to dry, and then get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser. You now have a finished inked drawing of a Green Angry Bird! You can stop here or go to the final step to complete your Angry Bird drawing.

Draw Green Angry Bird Completed Drawing

Final Step: For a completely finished Green Angry Bird drawing, you have to color it. You can use markers, color pencils or even crayons! Color his tail, crest/Mohawk and eyebrow black. His beak should be orange, and the base of it should be yellow. The Green Angry Bird's body/head should be green except for a semicircle on the lower half. That’s it! You now have a completed drawing of a Green Angry Bird from the Angry Birds games.
