Intro: Start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.

Step 1: Draw a small circle near the top of the paper as a guide for Tinker Bell's head. First draw four small marks for the height and width of the circle, then connect the marks using curved lines. Sketch lightly at first so that it's easy to erase if you make a mistake. The circle doesn't have to be perfect. It's just a guide. If you're struggling drawing the circle, trace the outer rim of a coin, a lid or any other object with a circular edge.

Step 2: Draw a small, curved line under the head as a guide for the jaw and chin. Don't draw this line too low, otherwise your Tinker Bell will end up with a big chin.

Step 3: Draw two curved intersecting lines inside the head, one horizontal and one vertical. Curve the lines so that they contour to the shape of the head. Pay attention to the placement of the lines. These construction lines will help you place Tinker Bell's facial features later.

Step 4: Draw two short lines under the head as guides for the neck. Under the neck, draw a horizontal line for the first part of the guide for the body. Now draw two long diagonal lines that come to a point at the bottom to complete the guide for Tinker Bell's body. The end result should look like a long, narrow triangle.

Step 5: Right under the triangle, draw a short horizontal line as a guide for the lower half of Tinker Bell's body. Connect the sides to the top part of the body using a couple of diagonal lines.

Step 7: On the upper, right side of Tinker Bell's body, draw a long line that bends slightly in the middle as a guide for the other arm. At the end of the line, draw a small circle as a guide for the other hand.

Step 8: On the lower, right side of the body, draw a long U-shaped line as a guide for the top part of the first leg. Make a small mark at the bottom to indicate the length of this guide, then connect it to the body at the top. Underneath, draw another U-shaped line, only smaller and thinner, as a guide for the middle part of the leg. Pay attention to the length and width of these guides in relation to each other and to Tinker Bell's body.

Step 9: Draw the guide for the lowest part of the leg using a couple of short vertical lines. The end result should be similar to a thin, long cylinder. Add the guide for Tinker Bell's foot at the bottom using a couple of angled lines.

Step 10: On the left side, draw a smaller U-shaped line as a guide for Tinker Bell's other leg. This leg will be behind the first leg, so don't overlap the lines. Add a couple of diagonal lines on the lower, right side of the U-shaped line for the middle section of the leg.

Step 11: Draw the rest of the leg on the right side of the first leg using a couple of short, diagonal lines. Add the foot at the end of the leg the same way as with the first foot. The shape of Tinker Bell's foot should be similar to a triangle , except the bottom part should be round.

Step 12: On the top, right side of the body, right next to the head, draw a long, curved diagonal line as a guide for the wing. Sketch lightly at first so that you get the shape and size of the line right. The longer the line, the longer the wing will be. Tinker Bell has long wings, so don't make this guide line too short. Draw a shorter line on the top, left side of the head as a guide for the other wing.

That's it for the guides! For the next steps, use darker lines for a more finished drawing.

Step 13: Lightly sketch two ovals inside the head for Tinker Bell's eyes. Use the construction lines as guides for placement. The eye on the left should be a bit smaller because of perspective. When you get the size and placement of the eyes right, darken the lines.

As you darken the lines, tilt the shapes a bit and make the sides pointier. Add a series of quick, short strokes along the top part of the eyes for the eyelashes. The eyelashes on the eye on the right should be a bit thicker and longer because of perspective. Make the bottom line of the eyes thicker too.

Step 14: Inside the eye on the left, near the right edge, draw a small circle for the iris. Draw a small circle inside the eye on the right too but place it closer to the middle. Inside each iris, draw a small dot for the pupils. The top part of the irises should be covered by the eyelids.

Step 15: Draw a short curved line over the eye on the left for the first eyebrow. Draw a longer curved line over the eye on the right for the other eyebrow. Notice the distance between the tops of Tinker Bell's eyes and the eyebrows. Don't draw them too close together.

Step 16: Draw Tinker Bell's nose as a short, curved line to the right of the eye on the left. Curve the shape of the line so that the tip of the nose is pointy. Add a small dot on the right for the nostril. Use the initial lines as guides to determine the size of the nose.

Step 17: Under the nose, draw a long, horizontal line for the top lip. Sketch the line lightly at first and darken it when you get it right. Draw a curved line underneath for the bottom part of the open mouth. Add another curved line below that for the bottom lip.

Step 18: Right above the eyebrows, draw a series of long, curved horizontal lines for the front part of the hair. Curve the lines toward the left until you reach the other eyebrow. Curve the left side of the hair so that it's similar to the letter V to create Tinker Bell's long bangs. Add a long, curved vertical line on the right for the side portion of the hair.

Step 21: Draw Tinker Bell's bun as a semi-circle on the top, right side of the head. The overall shape of the bun should be made up of short, curved lines to represent hair.

Step 22: Draw the shape of Tinker Bell's face using the remaining lines and shapes as guides. Draw a line right next to the eye for the side of the face. Then curve the line below the eye outward for the cheek. Darken the bottom part of the initial guides to create the chin, jaw and neck.

Step 23: Use the angled line on the right side of the body as a guide to draw Tinker Bell's first arm. Make the shape of the arm thicker as you follow the basic path of the initial guide line. The line for the neck should continue toward the right to create the shoulder. Sketch lightly at first to get the structure of the arm right. Use a curved line for the forearm. The shape of the arm should be narrower closer to the small circle to create the wrist.

Step 24: Use the small circle as a basic guide to draw Tinker Bell's hand and fingers. Inside the circle , draw a curved line similar to a long upside- down letter U for the thumb. Above the thumb , draw a long, thin arc that curves slightly to the right for the index finger. Now below the index finger, draw three more long, thin curved arcs for the other fingers. The fingers should gradually get smaller, with the pinky being the smallest.

Step 25: Use the big triangle as a guide to draw the top part of Tinker Bell's dress. Follow the outer edges of the guides as you draw the shape of the torso. Make the lines curvier as you darken them to further shape the torso. Draw a small V-shaped line on the top, left side of the torso for the opening of the dress. Now extend the line diagonally so that it ends on the lower, right side of the torso.

How to Draw Tinkerbell Full Body Disney 26

Step 26: Use the bottom part of the initial shapes as a guide to draw the lower half of Tinker Bell's dress. Follow the side of the guide but make the lines curvier as you darken them. Draw a series of V-shaped lines across the bottom edge of the initial guides for the bottom part of the dress. Don't draw too many of the V- shaped lines. About four lines should do it.

Step 27: Use the V-shaped line on the left as a guide to draw Tinker Bell's other arm. Follow the path of the guide as you draw the shape of the arm around it. Make the shape bulge out a bit to create the forearm. The wrist should be thin.

How to Draw Tinkerbell Full Body Disney 28

Step 28: Draw the hand on the left the same way as the hand on the right. Use the circle as a guide. Draw Tinker Bell's thumb as a short arc on the right side of the circle. Then draw a longer arc above it for the first finger. Draw two more long, thin arcs that bend slightly in the middle for the middle and ring fingers. Farther to the left, draw a shorter thin arc for the pinky finger and then close the shape of the hand.

Step 29: Use the curved lines under Tinker Bell's body on the right side as guides to draw the first leg. Simply darken the outer edges of the initial guide line to create the shape of the leg. Draw the sides of the leg as a single continuous line. The leg should be thick at the top and then gradually get thinner toward the bottom.

Step 30: Use the triangle-like shape at the bottom as a guide to draw Tinker Bell's foot. First draw a small circle on the left side of the foot for the puff on her slipper. Add a curved line for the slipper's opening and darken the outer edges of the guide to complete the shoe.

How to Draw Tinkerbell Full Body Disney 31

Step 31: Use the remaining lines as guides to draw the other leg the same way. Darken the outer edges of the initial guides to create the shape of the leg. Then draw Tinker Bell's other shoe the same way. Start with a small circle on the left side. Then draw a curved line for the slipper's opening and darken the outer edges of the guide.

How to Draw Tinkerbell Full Body Disney 32

Step 32: Use the long, curved lines at the top as guides to draw Tinker Bell's wings. Darken the initial line, then add another long curved line on the right to create a long, thin arc-like shape. The top of the wing should be pointy. This line should almost touch the shoulder on the right. Now draw the bottom half of the wing as a shorter curved line. Don't overlap the arm. Add the other wing the same way. Because of the angle, only draw the top of it and make it thinner.

Final Step: Color your Tinker Bell drawing using color pencils, markers or even crayons! Use yellow for the hair. Use light blue for the wings and peach for the skin. If you don't have peach, improvise and use yellow- orange or light brown. Use light green or yellow-green for the dress. Use light blue for Tinker Bell's eyes, red for the lips and a bit of pink for the cheeks. Color the shoes yellow-green too.
