Intro: Start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.

How to Draw Evil Queen Step 1

Step 1: Start by drawing an circle near the top half of the page. This will be a guide for the Evil Queen's head. The circle doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s just a guide.

Step 2: Under the circle, draw an arc similar to the letter V as a guide for the Evil Queen's jaw/chin. Both of the shapes combined form the guide for the head.

Step 3: Draw two small lines below the Evil Queen's head as guides for the neck.

Step 4: Next, draw two intersecting lines across the entire head shape, one vertical and one horizontal. Halfway between the bottom of the original circle and the bottom of the jaw, draw a smaller horizontal line. These will be construction lines that will help you place the Evil Queen's facial features later on.

Step 5: For guides for the Evil Queen's eyes, draw two small shapes that are similar to over-inflated footballs. Draw the shapes sitting on top of the horizontal construction line and on either side of the vertical construction line.

How to Draw Evil Queen Step 6

Step 6: That’s it for the initial sketch! You have the basic Evil Queen shape. Now go in and tighten your drawing. From this point on, press harder with your pencil in order to get darker lines and a more defined sketch.

Step 7: Tighten the outer shape of the Evil Queen's eyes and make the top part a bit taller. Draw a thick line in the middle that cuts the eye shape in half to create the eyelashes.

Step 8: Inside each eye draw a a half circle for the irises. Inside each iris draw another half circle and shade it in for the Evil Queen's pupils.

How to Draw Evil Queen Step 9

Step 9: On either side of the vertical construction line and above each eye, draw a long, curved shape for the eyebrows. The shape of the Evil Queen's eyebrows are similar to hooks or the letter J on its side.

How to Draw Evil Queen Step 10

Step 10: At the bottom of the original circle, on either side of the vertical construction line, draw two tiny lines for the Evil Queen's nostrils. The shape of the nostrils is similar to that of the eyebrows but a lot smaller.

How to Draw Evil Queen Step 11

Step 11: Draw the Evil Queen's upper lip sitting on top of the small horizontal construction line. The upper lip is made up of a thick wavy line. The shape is similar to a really short and wide letter M.

Step 12: Draw the Evil Queen's lower lip right under the upper lip as another wavy line.

Step 13: Use the main head shape as a guide to draw outer edge of the headdress the Evil Queen wears. The top point of the hood-like headdress starts halfway between her eyebrows and the top of her head. Then it forms a shape similar to a heart as it moves down toward her chin.

Step 14: Draw the lower part or base of the Evil Queen's crown right above her hood. The base of the crown consists of two long, curved horizontal lines with two short diagonal lines on either end.

Step 15: Draw five spikes above the base for the Evil Queen's actual crown. The spikes are similar to upside-down letter V's. The spike in the middle should be the biggest, and the other spikes should be smaller as they move out.

Step 16: Draw a small circle at the top of the middle spike for the jewel. Draw another series of spikes right over the first ones to make the Evil Queen's crown bigger and thicker.

Step 17: Darken the sides of the Evil Queen's head and draw the small lines at the bottom for the neck.

How to Draw Evil Queen Step 18

Step 18 (optional): On either side of the Evil Queen's head, draw a big triangle-like shape for her collar. The lines for the shape start out at the top at the ends of the horizontal construction line, then they move outward then back in toward the neck to form a sort of circular shape at the bottom.

Step 19 (optional): Draw the big pendant that's attached to the collar underneath the Evil Queen's head. The pendant consists of two circles, one inside the other, with two lines on either side for the attachments to the collar.

How to Draw Evil Queen Step 20

Step 20: That’s it! You now have a nice sketch of the Evil Queen from Walt Disney's Snow White. You can stop at this quick drawing for a rough, sketchy look or go for a more finished look by continuing to the next step.

Step 21: For a more finished, inked look, carefully draw over the final sketch lines with a pen or marker. Wait for the ink to dry, and then get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser. You now have a finished inked drawing of the Evil Queen! You can stop here or go to the final step to complete your Evil Queen drawing.

Final Step: For a completely finished Evil Queen drawing, you have to color it. You can use markers, color pencils or even crayons! Color her crown and the outside of her pendant yellow. Her hood is black. Her skin is a peach color, but if you don’t have peach, improvise and use yellow-orange or light brown. Experiment! The eyeshadow on her eyelids is purple, and her eyes are green. Her cheeks are pink, and her lips and the inside of her pendant are red. That’s it! You now have a completed drawing of the Evil Queen Grimhilde from Walt Disney's Snow White.
