Use the video and step-by-step drawing instructions below to learn how to draw Disney Channel's Kim Possible. A new cartoon drawing tutorial is uploaded every week, so stay tooned!

Intro: When learning how to draw Kim Possible, start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.

Draw Kim Possible 1

Step 1: Start with a small circle near the top of the page. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s just a guide for Kim Possible's head. Leave enough room at the bottom for her body.

Step 2: Next, draw two intersecting lines across the head, one vertical and one horizontal. Bend the lines a bit so that they contour to the shape of the head. Draw two smaller lines under the horizontal construction line. These will be construction lines that will help you place Kim Possible's facial features later on.

Step 3: Now draw guides for Kim Possible's eyes by drawing two small ovals right on top of the horizontal construction line and on either side of the vertical line. On the left side of the head, draw a C-shaped arc as a guide for the ear.

Step 4: Under the head draw a tiny line as a guide for Kim Possible's neck. Under that line, draw an upside-down triangle as a guide for the top part of the torso. Notice how the bottom of the triangle points slightly to the right.

Step 5: Draw an angled line under the triangle as a guide for the bottom part of Kim Possible's torso. The shape is flat at the bottom with two lines that go up to meet the triangle.

Step 6: On either side of the triangle, draw an angled line as a guide for Kim Possible's arms. The lines start at the top of the triangle. They angle outward, then in toward the bottom shape. At the end of each line, draw a small circle as a guide for Kim Possible's hands.

Step 7: Under the torso, draw two long lines as guides for her legs. The length of the legs should be about the same as the entire torso shape. Under each line, draw a small oval as a guide for Kim Possible's feet.

Step 8: That’s it for the initial sketch! You have the basic shape of the Kim Possible cartoon character. Now go in and tighten your drawing. From this point on, press harder with your pencil in order to get darker lines and a more defined sketch.

Step 9: First draw a series of lines across Kim Possible's face for the front part of the hair. The line for the hair starts above the ear, then moves down to a point and comes back up and touches the top of the original circle. Then it moves to the right across her forehead and over the eye on the right. Draw a small line on top of the head on the left side. We'll come back to the rest of Kim Possible's hair in a later step.

Step 10: Darken the shape of Kim Possible's eyes. Inside each eye, draw a circle for the irises. Inside each iris, draw a big dot for the pupils.

Step 11: Draw a curved line over the eye on the left for the eyebrow. The eyebrow on the right isn't visible because it's hiding under Kim Possible's hair. Use the lines inside the head as guides to draw the nose. Draw a curved line near the vertical guide for the bridge of the nose and a pointy shape under the horizontal guide for the tip of the nose.

Step 12: Use the small construction line as a guide to draw Kim Possible's mouth. Kim has a prominent upper lip, so draw a couple of long, curved lines to create it. Her lower lip is just a small curved line.

Step 13: Draw the ear, the neck and the rest of Kim Possible's face by using the initial shapes as guides.

Step 14: Use the line on the left as a guide to draw Kim Possible's arm. Follow the basic path of the line as you make the arm thicker. Notice that the forearm is thicker at the top and narrower near the wrist. Draw a line for the shirt's sleeve. Use the circle as a guide to draw her hand. Draw the top part of the hand first, then draw small, curved lines on the left for the folded fingers.

Step 15: Draw Kim Possible's torso by using the initial shapes as guides. Follow the basic path of the guides as you darken the lines and create the body. Draw a line across the torso for the bottom of the shirt and a small line near the bottom for the belly button.

Step 16: Draw the arm on the right side the same way you did the other arm. Follow the guide and make the arm thicker. Don't forget to make the wrist thinner. Use the circle as a guide to draw the hand. Draw Kim Possible's folded fingers as small, curved lines on the right side.

Step 17: Now draw the rest of Kim Possible's hair around her head. Draw a curved line that goes from the bottom of the arm on the left to the small line on top of the head. Then draw a longer curved line on the other side of the body. Draw a small pointy shape for the bottom part of the hair under the arm on the left.

Step 18: Draw a few curved lines inside the shape of Kim Possible's hair as extra detail.

Step 19: Under the torso, draw a couple of curved, horizontal lines to make up the belt. In the middle of the belt, draw a couple of small lines and a circle for extra detail. Under Kim Possible's hand on the left, draw a couple of U-shaped curved lines to create her satchel. Draw a circle inside the shape for the satchel's button.

Step 20: Use the the line on the left as a guide to draw Kim Possible's leg. Kim wears loose pants, so draw the pant leg bulging out and wrinkly at the bottom. Use the oval at the bottom to draw the pointy shoe. Add the top part of the pants above the belt.

Step 21: Draw the pant leg on the right side by following the basic path of the guide. Curve the lines and make them bulge out for a loose look and add the wrinkles at the bottom. Draw Kim Possible's other shoe by using the oval as a guide.

Final Step: For a completely finished Kim Possible drawing, you have to color it. You can use anything you want: markers, color pencils or even crayons! Her hair is orange, and her eyes are green. Kim's skin is peach, but if you don't have peach, use yellow-orange or light brown. Her shirt and shoes are black. Her belt is yellow, and her pants and satchel are light brown. That’s it! You now have a completed drawing of Disney Channel's Kim Possible.
