Below you can watch a NEW step-by-step tutorial with NARRATED steps:

The following is an older video tutorial:

Intro: Start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 1

Step 1: To draw Cinderella, start with an egg shape that points down in the middle of the page. Draw two lines at the bottom of that shape. These will be the basic shapes for Princess Cinderella's head and neck.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 2

Step 2: Next, draw two intersecting lines across the egg shape, one vertical line and one horizontal. When drawing the lines, bend them so they follow the contour of the egg shape. In the middle of the horizontal line and the bottom of the egg shape, draw a smaller horizontal line. Above that line and below the main horizontal line, draw an even smaller horizontal line. These will be construction lines that will help you place Cinderella's features later on.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 3

Step 3: Now draw this Disney princess' eyes by drawing two small ovals with pointed ends, like footballs. These ovals should be placed on top of the horizontal construction line. The left side of the right oval should touch the vertical construction line.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 4

Step 4: Draw a small arc above each eye for Cinderella's eyebrows and a U-shaped arc below the bottom horizontal line to create her mouth.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 5

Step 5: For Cinderella's headband, draw a curve on the inside her head that follows the exact shape of her head. Now draw in the first guide for her hair by drawing a curve that begins on the top left of the curve you just drew. This curve goes above her eyebrows and ends at the right side of Cinderella's head.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 6

Step 6: Draw in two more guides for Cinderella's hair. The first is a curve on top of her head that will be her bun, and the second is curve on the right side of the head that will be part of her bangs.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 7

Step 7: That's it for the initial sketch of Disney's Cinderella! You have the basic Cinderella shape, so now go in and tighten your drawing. From this point on, press harder with your pencil in order to get darker lines and a more defined sketch.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 8

Step 8: Tighten the shape of Cinderella's eyes by giving her thick eyelashes. Also draw a small curve above each of her eyes to represent eyelids. Draw the right eyelid so it continues down to make the top part of Cinderella's nose. End this line where the construction lines meet.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 9

Step 9: Finish drawing  Cinderella's eyes by darkening the football shapes and giving her a series of three circles inside each other that will represent her irises, pupils and glare.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 10

Step 10: Define Cinderella's eyebrows by making them thicker and shapelier. Draw in her nose, as well, which sits on top of the small horizontal guide. Draw Cinderella's nose as two small curves, one with a horizontal orientation and one with a vertical orientation.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 11

Step 11: Now tighten Cinderella's lips. Her upper lip consists of the small bottom construction line with a short and wide M shape on top of it. Draw her lower lip with two wide U shapes underneath.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 12

Step 12: Using the main head shape as a guide, tighten Cinderella's face. Draw a line that starts just outside the head, dip it in near the right eye, bring it out a bit to create her cheekbone and curve it up near the bottom. Stop drawing the line before it touches the left side of the neck.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 13

Step 13: Darken in the two lines that make Cinderella's neck and curve them outward slightly at the bottom. Draw a small line on the right side of the neck that indicates the beginning of her shoulder. Inside of Cinderella's neck, draw two curves to represent her necklace.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 14

Step 14: Cinderella's hair can get tricky, so the tutorial for how to draw it is broken down in two parts. Use the existing hair guides to draw Cinderella's bangs by drawing a series of curves above her eyebrows. Draw the sides of her hair down just below the horizontal construction line.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 15

Step 15: Draw in the remaining curve to finish Cinderella's bangs. Draw her bun with a series of semi curves right on top of the main head shape.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 16

Step 16: Darken the rest of Cinderella's head, which slightly extends outside of the main shape on the left side. Draw in her hair band, which ends with a small circle below the horizontal construction line on the left side.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 17

Step 17: That's it! You now have a nice sketch of Disney's Cinderella. You can stop at this quick drawing for a rough, sketchy look or go for a more finished look by continuing to the next step.

How to Draw Cinderella Step 18

Step 18: For a more finished, inked look of Princess Cinderella, carefully go over the final sketch lines with a pen or marker. Wait for the ink to dry, and then get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser. You now have a finished inked drawing of Cinderella! You can stop here or go to the final step to complete your Cinderella drawing.

How to Draw Cinderella Completed Drawing

Final Step: For a completely finished Cinderella drawing, you have to color it. You can use markers, color pencils or even crayons! Color her hair yellow, her eyebrows light brown, her hair band and eyes blue, her lips pink and her necklace black. Cinderella's skin is a peach color. If you don't have peach, improvise and use yellow-orange or light brown. Experiment! That's it! You now have a completed drawing of Disney's Cinderella.
