Step 10: Inside each eye, near the top, left side, draw a small half-circle for the pupils. Shade in the pupils. Don't overlap the eyelids as you shade. Draw a short, curved line over each of Daffy Duck's eyes for the thick brows.
Step 11: Along the top edge of the initial circle, draw three spike-like shapes for some feathers on Daffy Duck's head. Draw a line from the feathers to the brow on the right. The middle tuft should be longer than the side tufts. Draw a line from the tuft to the horizontal guide for the thin shape of Daffy's head.
Step 12: Draw a short, curved line from the middle of the eyes to the outside of the initial circle for the first part of Daffy Duck's beak. Pay attention to the length of this line. Sketch lightly at first and only darken the line when you get the shape right. At the end of the line, draw a curved line that's similar to an upside-down letter U for the tip of the beak.
Step 13: Lightly sketch a line from the inside of the tip of Daffy Duck's beak almost to the horizontal guide in the head. This line should dip low in the middle. When you get the shape right, darken the line. On the left tip of the line, draw a shorter, curved line for the smile line.
Step 14: Draw a line from the eye on the left down to the edge of the initial circle for the side of the beak. Draw a flat line on the bottom. This shape should sort of create a cheek. It should be wide and flat on the bottom. Draw a curved line between Daffy Duck's eyes. Add a curved line to the right of the eye on the right for the other "cheek." Draw a small line for Daffy Duck's smile inside the "cheek." Add a dot below the middle of the eyes for the nostril.
