Step 6: Draw a series of tiny squares inside the crown for the window openings. These windows should be pretty narrow. Below the ear, draw a line for the neck. Below the neck, draw a circle with a few lines inside for the knot on the robe. To the right, draw a line for the hair. Under the Statue of Liberty's head, finish the neck and top of the robe.

Step 7: On the lower, left side of the head, draw a series of curved lines for the sleeve on the Statue of Liberty's robe. Sketch lightly at first. When you get the shape of the robe sleeve right, darken the lines. The sleeve is made up of several curved lines to indicate the folds and wrinkles on the cloth.

At the top, draw the thumb and fingers using a series of small, curved lines. The fingers are similar in shape to ovals. Below the fingers, draw a V- shaped line for the bottom of the Statue of Liberty's torch.
