Step 5: Inside the Gingerbread Man's head, draw two small circle's for the Gingerbread Man's eyes. Place the circles on top of the horizontal construction. line and on either side of the vertical line. Above each eye, draw a small curved shape for the eyebrows. The shapes of the eyebrows should be similar to tiny sasauges.

Step 6: Below the Gingerbread Man's eyes, draw a wide curved shape as a guide for the outer edge of mouth. This shape should take up a big part of the lower side of the head and it should be bean-like in shape. Inside this shape, draw a similar but thinner shape for the inisde of the mouth. Darken the very first circle for the head but don't darken the lower edge.

Step 7: Use the diagonal line on the left side of the torso as a guide to draw the Gingerbread Man's first arm. Follow the path of the guide and draw the shape of the arm around it. Make the shape of the arm wide on the sides and round at the top. Curve the top edge so that it attaches to the head.

Step 8: Use the sloping line on the right as a guide to draw the Gingerbread Man's other arm the same way. Follow the path of the guide and draw the arm around it. This arm curves more than the arm on the left.

Step 9: Use the line on the lower, right side as a guide to draw the Gingerbread Man's candy cane crutch. Darken the line and curve the top part along the body and toward the arm to create the left edge of the candy cane. Draw the right edge of the candy cane along the first line. At the top, draw a curved line for the candy cane's hook. Don't overlap the shape of the arm as you draw the candy cane.
